"I have called my son out of Egypt."

"Kids, Rats, Dogs & Cats"
Hi from Egypt:
It is Thursday Morning June 10, in Egypt. I am sitting on a patio outside our room in the Anglican Church Guest House near the Nile river. I don't know how long I will have access to the internet, so I am taking advantage of it each morning.
Jack and I went to, "Garbage City" last night to be with a home church. In my travels I have been to pitiful places in the world. Living in the Philippines I spent a lot of time ministering in squatter's areas and so forth. This was one of the worst areas I have ever been in. Most of the garbage from Cairo is taken here, then the people go through it bag by bag, sorting and taking what they can. Piles of garbage was everywhere, even in what was called homes. Kids, rats, dogs and cats were everywhere. The amazing thing is, it's a city, they have build high rise housing, call it "Garbage City." Food stalls to sell fruits and food, it was amazing. The smell was that of a garbage dump.
In the midst of that we shared in a house church. About 17 in total came together, quality young men and women. We shared about destiny and what God can do in their lives. I remember so many in the Philippines who lived in squatter's areas, who are now pastors and blessed of the Lord. I believe God can do the same for these men and women.
Thank you for your concern. We will be with pastors today and then back in house churches tonight.
God bless,
Larry Neville
